NEW COACH PROGRAM IN HOLLAND

28 januari 2020 - Đắk Ya, Vietnam

For the first time in many many many years there is a good coach education program in Holland, Badminton Nederland has not been able to make a proper program after the conclusion that the old program was way below the standard needed 5 years ago. Badminton Nederland did however not come with a new education program and now the VBO has jump into the big whole and with a lot of success. The new education program “badminton specialist one” has been set-up by Eric Krom and Aad van Zeijl the last one is also technical responsible for the program. The program is based on the Danish way of thinking and done with two young ass. coaches who have been doing their education for 100% in Denmark Mark Verschoor and Roy Mulder. The test starts in 2019/2020 has been a success and the new program has just been announced and will start in September 2020, the way I understand it is that everyone who wants to join have to come for a kind of intake talk because there are only a very limited number of coaches who can join. The good thing about this program is that the Danish coach education system is coming to Holland and you don’t need to travel to Denmark anymore for a couple of weeks, the program in Denmark is in Danish or English and in Holland you can do it in Dutch. I understand from the VBO that there is a lot of interest for the second program and that there are also coaches who are not a member of the VBO want to join, including coaches from Belgium and Germany that is why this article is done in English.
